The Truth About Madison Prewett’s Relationship With Kelley Flanagan

Several weeks after the dramatic finale of The Bachelor, runner-up Madison Prewett is finally opening up about the end of her relationship with Peter Weber as well as her friendship with Kelley Flanagan. As Bachelor fans recall, Madison self-eliminated on The Bachelor, paving the way for Peter to propose to Hannah Ann Sluss. Peter ended up breaking off the engagement, though, and later pursued Madison before announcing that they had agreed things weren’t going to work out. Not long after, Peter ended up hanging out with another contestant, Kelley. While they aren’t officially dating, things do seem to be headed in that direction.

All of this is made even more dramatic because of the fact that, according to Madison, she and Kelley were “best friends” and “inseparable”, to the point that Kelley was even included in Madison’s family’s group text messages.

Madison told the Off the Vine podcast (via E! News) that she was “caught… off guard” when Peter was first spotted spending time with Kelley — especially as he had been calling and texting her asking to “get back together” just two days earlier. “I think that to me was a little confusing, but I don’t know,” she said.

Madison Prewett and Kelley Flanagan aren’t talking right now

While Madison wishes Peter and Kelley the best if they do end up pursuing a relationship, it seems like her friendship with Kelley is done. I haven’t spoken to her in a really long time,” she said.

Madison doesn’t seem upset about the romance that is likely brewing between her ex and her friend, but she is hurt that she “didn’t receive any kind of a heads-up or any sort of text or explanation” of what was happening from Kelley herself. “I’m not saying I necessarily deserve it, but I kind of feel like I do, because we were best friends,” she said.

She added, “It’s like, that takes five minutes to send a text, to make a call. If the roles were reversed that would be the first thought that I’d have. I want to take it to this person first, I want them to hear it from me first.”
